The whole reason I even wrote that fanfic the way I did was because I’ve raised and sold hedgehogs my whole life. <3 So I’ve seen it up close, and always thought it was so funny and cute!! And it IMMEDIATELY made me think of Sonic with Shadow.

And now they’ve just made it canon. Whether they meant to or not. :3

Here’s the proof to back it up!

P.S. I always thought of Sonic’s “chin-wiping” as him rubbing under his nose all the time..

I have a headcanon that Edwin turns into Orbwin every time gets majorly annoyed with Charles or they have an argument. He's just a ball of light, sitting on the desk silently. He's unmoving and unspeaking and just wants to Make a Dramatic Point. Once he gets tired of it and is cool with interacting again he stops being Orbwin and turns back.

Charles also uses his Chorb form, but differently. Chorb appears when Edwin is busy with a task, usually reading, but Charles wants attention. Charles-light-ball pops into existence on Edwin's shoulder, rolls down his arm, and settles into the pages of the book/notebook. If Edwin moves him, Chorb does it again until he gets attention.

They also have the Great Orb Incident of '02, where Edwin got so annoyed with Chorb's interference with his task that he became Orbwin and sat on the table. Chorb was stuck on the couch. They sat like that for a full day and it became more of a contest to see who could orb out for longer. Neither of them wanted to give in and be the first to switch back. (Finally, Charles caved solely because he required more stimulation than just rolling in circles on the sofa, and he lamented Edwin's endless patience.)

I saw a comic a long time ago in which lil' Jolyne meets Josuke, and she was fascinated by his hair in a lovely and cute way (I forgot who did it, sorry). It gave me the idea of making my own version, but... I prefer to add conflicts and twists into my stories for the sake of comedy, lol.

Pop out Wolverine's sweaty tatas and he'll calm down and push his face in them like a hyperventilating person breathing into a paper bag. All the younger X-Men just airdrop the same photo of Logan's bare chest (that they got from Rogue) to each other if they run into Wade in mercenary mode.

Logan absolutely whips them out to win arguments with Wade (yes, he fights dirty like that)

Bruce and Selina are mlm/wlw besties who dated once when they first met and now cannot fathom ever being together non-platonically at all. Bruce is bi with a heavy male preference, Selina is a lesbian (but will fake-flirt with men if it's convenient for her in the moment). They hang out at least once a week so Bruce can complain about his two horrible boyfriends (Harvey and Joker) and his baby mama who he's kinda terrified of (Talia). Selina bullies him the entire time and then updates him on whatever Hot Gotham Gossip she has available. Then they probably beat the shit out of each other again. They're besties.
